UEFA Europa League 12/1/2010.

It's the first day of December and we have some exciting Europa League action! Zenit play Anderlecht in St. Petersburg, Russia in Group G, while in the other Group G match Hajduk Split take on AEK Athens in the Stadion Poljud in Split. Young Boys will be facing  Group H opposition Stuttgart in Berne at the same time as OB take on Getafe in Odense. Metalist v.s. Debrecen and Sampdoria v.s. PSV in Group I are the other early matches. Manchester City play Salzburg in Manchester later today while Lech will hope for something against Juventus rounding out Group A. Group B action will consist of Atletico taking on Aris of Greece which should, sadly, be an easy match for the Spanish side at home. Rosenborg take on Leverkusen in the other Group B fixture. Finally, in Group C, Sporting will welcome Lille to Lisbon as Gent will meet Levski. I'll do a report on each of these matches as they get under way.
