West Ham take down Manchester United in the English Cup. 11/30/2010.

Defeated 4-0 at a snowed down Upton Park, United will not win the Cup for a third time in a row this season. U.S. international Johnathan Spector struck a double before half-time to start United's fall. They were the first goals in his six seasons playing in the English League. England striker Carlton Cole put in another duo in the midst of the second half to qualify the Hammers for the next round. The fact that this poor result came after their 7-1 demolition of Blackburn shows that United aren't interested in the Cup this year, as they fielded a largely youth side with only Anderson from the thrashing side remaining. Avram Grant was especially happy with the result as his position had been in doubt before his side beat both Wigan in the league and this Cup win. Arsenal are still in though, hoping to improve on a drought of titles since 2005, thanks to a 2-0 result against Wigan. An own-goal from Antolin Alcaraz and a sweet strike by Nicklas Bendtner put the game to bed. Wigan have also lost Victor Moses due to a wrist injury which doesn't bode well for the side.
