UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifying and other news/results.

In case anybody didn't know, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands are the only teams to have thus far (10/12/2010) remained undefeated in qualifying.
On a totally different track: The U.S. Men's soccer team tied with Colombia in Chester, PA.
On yet another thread: Egypt lost their first two qualifying matches in 2012 African Cup of Nations qualifying, losing to Sierra Leone and then Niger, two of the supposedly weaker sides in their qualifying group. Sierra Leone meanwhile also tied with Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Other African results were Mali 2-1 Liberia, Madagascar 0-1 Ethiopia, and Guinea 1-0 Nigeria. Finally, Benin defeated Rwanda (at Rwanda) 3-0 and also, all of their goals came in the 2nd half!
Asian results: Asian Champions Iraq defeated the hosts of the Asian Cup Qatar in quaifying play 2-1. Japan and the Korea Republic played out a rather boring goalless draw in Seoul. China meanwhile lost 4-0 to World Cup semi-finalists Uruguay in a friendly match. Meanwhile Saudi Arabia beat Gabon 1-0 while losing to Bulgaria in Istanbul 2-0. Similarly, Angola defeated the United Arab Emirates in good fashion: 2-0. Finally, Kuwait destroyed Vietnam 3-1 while Uzbekistan obliterated the Bahrain team 4-2.
CONCACAF: Canada tied 2-2 with the Ukraine. Peru handily defeated the Costa Rica, Costa Rica has now lost 5 consecutive matches. Meanwhile, Panama edged out El Salvador 1-0 in Panama City. Also, New Zealand and Honduras tied 1-1 in Auckland, New Zealand, similar to the U.S.'s 2-2 match with Poland. However, Guatemala defeated Belize 4-2 in an entertaining match which Guatemala actually opened the scoring of and continued to rule. Finally, Jamaica was able to defeat Trinidad & Tobago 1-0 in a close match on October 10th in Kingston, Jamaica.
