Asian Champions League

Seongnam Ihlwa Chunma of South Korea and Zob Ahan of Iran will battle for Asian club football’s biggest prize. They both saw off competition from Saudi Arabia in the Semi-finals which Seongnam won on goal difference (4-4 on aggregate against Al Shabab) while Zob Ahan won in a straight forward manner (2-0 on aggregate against Al Hilal). The South Koreans will be playing in the memory of their old coach Cha Kyung-bok who took them to the 2004 final before dying in 2005. The current coach of the team was actually the captain of the 2004 side!
