UEFA 2012 Qualifying

Netherlands 4-1 Sweden. World Cup Runners-up Holland took a well deserved three points from Sweden as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Ibrahim Afellay scored twice each to put the game to bed, despite a late Swedish resurgence. With this result, the Netherlands solidified their place at the top of Group E whereas Sweden reside in third place level with Moldova.
San Marino 0-2 Moldova. Moldova took the lead early and never let it go. Moldova now sit in the middle of the Grup E table while San Marino occupy their usual place... bottom of the table.
Estonia 0-1 Slovenia. Slovenia and Estonia weren't able to break the deadlock in the first half however Slovenia took the oppurtunity in the second half with an own-goal from Estonian Andrei Sidorenkov putting Slovenia in second place in Group C while Estonia have to make due with third place.
Slovakia 1-1 Republic of Ireland. Despite drawing first blood in the 16th minute, Ireland couldn't control the game for a win as Slovakia salvaged a point from the match. With this result does the Irish Republic, Armenia, and Slovakia all stand at second place with seven points a piece in Group B.
FYROM 0-1 Russia. Meanwhile, in first place, Russia maintained its dominance with a victory over second from bottom Macedonia. The game however, wasn't too exciting, with the heros of the day being Aleksandr Kerzhakov and his early goal and Igor Akinfeev and his penalty save.
