UEFA 2012 Qualifying and Internationals.

In the last games in 2010 of the Euro Cup qualifying session, Croatia seized the apex of Group F with their comprehensive 3-0 win over Malta. Scoring 2 in the first half and another in the last of the second half propelled the Croatians to victory as Malta could not respond and only had one attempt on target. Finland meanwhile found form to deal San Marino an 8-0 defeat. The first goal only came in the last minutes of the first half, but the second half was without a doubt Finnish: scoring 3 goals in 10 minutes and another 3 in 8 minutes. One penalty also gave the Finns a goal. The victory gave the Finns their best competitive international result in the nation's history as well as the teams first 3 points in Group E. The Argentina v.s. Brazil match meanwhile ended in tears as the Argentine Lionel Messi scored a late goal in injury time to defeat Brazil 1-0. He weaved through several defenders before placing it sweetly into the bottom corner. Ronaldinho also played, in his first game since early 2009, with some success, but couldn't do what the brilliant Messi did. The grudge match between England and France on the other hand was a nice French performance, but the English were short of brilliant. By quite a bit. It ended 2-1 in the favor of France. Also, Norway beat the Republic of Ireland by the same margin in a decent game.
