Gripping day in the Champions League. 3/15/11.

Well Manchester United are through again following a great game in England against Marseille. Coming in 0-0 from the first leg, United were led by Javier Hernandez who scored in the fifth and seventy minutes later to make it 2-0 before a mix up in the defence occured and Wes Brown accidently scored an own goal in the 82nd. It wasn't enough for Marseille though as United ran on to victory with a 2-1 lead. Manchester's majority of possession probably really helped their cause as they face the next round! In the other game today, Inter Milan were down by a goal on aggregate but scored early through Samuel Eto'o to lead 1-0 over Bayern Munich before Mario Gomez and Thomas Muller struck to give the Germans a 2-1 lead into half-time. Wesley Sneijder struck Inter level in the 63rd before Goran Pandev slotted home the winner two minutes from the end of regulation to give the Italians victory by away goals.
