Domestic action. Champions League and stuff later.

Starting in beautiful Italy, Inter Milan defeated Fiorentina in a close match which ended 2-1. Michele Camporese gave Inter the lead with his own goal very early in the match before Manuel Pasqual equalised in the 33rd minute. Inter then went ahead for the win when Giampaolo Pazzini struck home in the 61st minute. In Sampdoria's match with Genoa, Rafinha struck for the visitors in the 55th to give them the three points. There were other opportunities for both sides but they were all lost. In Germany, Hamburg and St. Pauli played out a close Hamburg derby which St. Pauli ended up winning by one goal. Gerald Asamoah was the man who gave St. Pauli the victory with his 59th minute strike which was well-deserved. At half-time in the Champions League matches, Roma have fallen behind Shaktar Donetsk 3-1 while Barcelona leads 1-0 over their hosts Arsenal.
