And then in the evenly fought match between Twente and Bremen, Twente drew first blood in the second half with Bremen soon equalizing. Barcelona finished the night 2 up against a goaless Kobenhavn while Hapoel Tel-Aviv scored one goal against Schalke salvaging some pride in a 3-1 defeat. Tottenham couldn't complete a comeback as their game finished 4-3, giving Inter 3 more points. And so, the winners of today's action were Schalke winning 3-1 at home, Manchester United edged out Bursaspor with Nani's 7th minute goal, Inter and their first-half dominance, and Lyon and Barcelona each with 2-0 wins over their respective opponents. There were a few draws though as the Greeks of Pana' couldn't find the net as Rubin outperformed them to no avail, final score, 0-0. Valencia meanwhile took a point from Rangers as they were at Rangers in an interesting 1-1 draw while Twente and Bremen finished level as well by the same margin.
