And the leagues are back!

Well, after all of this exciting summer action we are back and the same as always: Fulham, Swansea City, West Brom, Chelsea, Manchester City as well as Newcastle and West Ham all started off the English Premier League with wins while Reading, Stoke, Arsenal, and Sunderland drew their respective matches. However, both of these groups are better off than the likes of Southampton, Spurs, Aston Villa, Wigan, Liverpool, Norwich City and QPR who lost their opening matches. Last but not least Manchester United and Everton have not begun their league campaigns yet. On to the Spanish La Liga where Barcelona opened their league efforts with a 5-1 victory over Real Sociedad. Real Betis,  Deportivo la Coruna, Mallorca, Sevilla, and Malaga also got off to winning starts as Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Levante, and Valencia faced draws with one another. Granada, Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, Real Valladolid, and Real Zaragoza have yet to have the music while Espanyol, Getafe, Celta de Vigo, Athletic Club, Osasuna, and Real Sociedad failed to impress on their first showings.
