Women's Champions League Final! 5/26/2011.

It was a rather one-sided match that saw the new queens of Europe become Lyon after they played and won a spirited match against Potsdam. The French side defeated the Germans in England by a margin of 2-0 after Wendie Renard had put them into the lead in the 27th minute from a corner while Lara Dickenmann tacked on a second in the 85th to really put the match out of Potsdam's reach. Dickenmann's strike came after she controlled the ball with her right foot and slotted home with her left. It was a remarkable end to a great Women's Championship! Congratulations to Lyon and all of the other contenders for the breathtaking performances!
